How will I know if I won the item I am bidding on?
You can keep track of your winning and losing bids as well as purchases in the user dashboard - the dashboard sits to the far left in the menu. Your invoice will be the final determination of what you have won or purchased. At auction close, your invoice will appear in the invoices section of the app. You can view and possibly pay this invoice directly from the app.
How do I know I have been outbid?
Handbid will notify you if you have been outbid by sending you a message in the app. If you have not allowed for push notifications, then you will also receive a text message with an outbid alert. You can review your alerts under "alerts" in the menu section of this app.
What is a max bid?
A max bid can be thought of as the highest price you are willing to pay. When you set a max bid Handbid bid on your behalf up to this maximum amount.
If I submit a max bid will I have to pay that price?
Not necessarily, Handbid will bid the minimum amount required (up to your max) to keep you winning the item. You will always win the item at one bid increment above the next highest bid.
How do I add my credit card?
To add a credit card, tap on the menu at the top left of the screen (3 horizontal lines). Then select the Profile menu option just below the X. On the profile screen, select the Credit Card tab on the top right. Tap on the ADD CREDIT CARD button and enter your credit card information. If you do not see this horizontal menu option, select and browse any auction.
How do I pay my invoice?
If you have a card on file and this auction is using Handbid's credit card system, you can checkout and pay right from your app. Go to the invoices section in the menu to view and pay your invoice.
Is my credit card data secure?
Your card data is stored securely with our PCI compliant merchant provider. None of your card data touches our servers or apps.
Can I delete a bid?
Only an Auction Manager can delete a bid. If you have bid on the wrong item or made a mistake please see the Auction Manager.

What if I am not present at the event?
Handbid lets you bid from anywhere. If the auction manager has put restrictions on bidding remotely, please contact them directly.
